BeerHeadZ’ fifth bar opens today! Located on King Street in Melton Mowbray’s oldest secular building (parts of which date back to 1330), BeerHeadZ have created a beer haven for the discerning drinkers of Melton. Featuring beers from draught, craft, bottle and can, we hope to offer something for everyone. Confused by the choice? Never fear! Our enthusiastic team are on had to help you decide what to try. Work is very much on-going, so please expect changes over the next few weeks until we settle down. We hope to see you all very shortly! Cheers, Team BeerHeadZ
FREE Steampunk BeerZ @ BeerHeadZ BeerHeadZ Lincoln has commissioned Cheeky Imp brewery to brew us three truly EXCLUSIVE beers to celebrate the Asylum Steampunk Festival in Lincoln next month. They will be available only at BeerHeadZ over the weekend, 24th-27th August. Newark Steampunk aficionado Jay (Von Duran) Doran will be crafting special leather pump clips to showcase the beers on the bar, so big hoorahs to him! One will be named BeerPunkZ – A juicy New England IPA, packed with Mosaic and Sorachi hops. The second beer – SteamHeadZ – will be a beautifully smooth coconut and vanilla stout. The third is a …
We have applied this week for a premises license for our first city venue, which will be in Nottingham. If all the permissions are approved, we hope to be trading by late June/early July. Stay posted for more details as we have them. Meanwhile… Can you guess where it is yet?
Well, we’re not sure about pretty faces in this instance, but BeerHeadZ certainly have talent! Here’s landlord Phil with his Heavy Metal band Paralex, who have released their first ever rock video! The track is from the band’s new album ‘Key to a Thousand Doors’, released on the No Remorse label. Watch the video, bang your head, then get down BeerHeadZ to quench that thirst. You know it makes sense! Happy headbanging, BeerHeadZ!

But the timing didn’t deter the customers, who were piling through the door 15 minutes early to grab a pint! The first beers on the bar were: Baker’s Dozen – Jentacular 3.5% Cwrw Iâl – Limestone Cowboy 4.5% Blue Bee – Tempest Stout 4.8% Bad Seed – Salted Smoked Maple 4.3% Vocation – Pride & Joy 5.3% All were received well, with the Vocation and Baker’s Dozen just winning the popularity vote. It was great to see old faces along with lots of new ones and we look forward to serving you quality, exciting beers in Grantham in the future. Many thanks for everyone’s support in getting …
