BeerHeadZ’ fifth bar opens today! Located on King Street in Melton Mowbray’s oldest secular building (parts of which date back to 1330), BeerHeadZ have created a beer haven for the discerning drinkers of Melton. Featuring beers from draught, craft, bottle and can, we hope to offer something for everyone. Confused by the choice? Never fear! Our enthusiastic team are on had to help you decide what to try. Cask is the word from Cloudwater! Only two years after dropping cask beers from its production, award-winning Cloudwater has decided to re-introduce cask in very limited quantities. Writing on their blog here they sate: “If you’re the sort of establishment that has a cellar that’s maintained between 10.5ºC-12ºC at all times, know to dispense cask when it’s conditioned out past any rise and fall of diacetyl producing VDK, and have enough stillage to serve cask beer when it’s ready and bristling with CO2, and not just when one of your lines is free, please get in touch here to register your interest”. BeerHeadZ Lincoln opens!

After months of delays and weeks of hard work, BeerHeadZ Lincoln finally opened at noon today. If truth be told, we’re not 100% ready, but the beer’s good which is the main thing! So please stick with us whilst we make improvements over the next few days. The BHZ crew at Lincoln – Jon, Scott, Craig, Rachel, Tim and David – got a good work out on our practice run last night and the place was well received by all those who attended. We have a cracking beer lineup for starters – six on cask and nine on keg – including some beauties from Weird Beard, Wild Weather, Neon Raptor and Abbeydale among others. We look forwarded to serving you with some top class beers and hope to see you all soon!

Want egg in your beer? Well, you’re in luck this Easter, because BeerHeadZ Lincoln is opening on Good Friday! Yes!!! After months of delays we are absolutely delighted to announce that our new venue at 4 Eastgate (Uphill Lincoln, just off the Bail) will be open on Friday, March 30th. We will have six cask pumps and ten craft lines installed, plus a shed load (or two fridges actually) full of bottles and cans of all sorts to suit any palate. So come and eggsperiment with the different styles. All draught beers available in 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and pint measures, served in BeerHeadZ branded, oversized and lined glassware.
