Planning and License applications have been submitted for the second BeerHeadZ premises in Grantham. If permissions are given and everything goes smoothly, we would expect to be open comfortably in time for Christmas. Stay posted, BeerHeadZ!
BeerHeadZ is NNotts Pub of the Season
North Notts CAMRA have awarded BeerHeadZ their ‘Pub of the Season’ for Winter. The BeerHeadZ team received the certificate earlier this week at the pub at a well-attended event which involved much beer swilling and pork pie munching. Big thanks go out to North Notts CAMRA for recognising our efforts and to all the BeerHeadZ staff and customers without whom this wouldn’t have been possible. We salute you all! Cheers!
BeerHeadZ bags first award!
After being opened just a tad over three months and serving 120 different beers from 112 breweries, BeerHeadZ are delighted to announce that we have won our first award! North Notts CAMRA have voted us their ‘Pub of the Season’ for Winter. The BeerHeadZ team are very proud to have their efforts recognised so soon after opening and look forward to bringing you more exciting beers from breweries old and new in the future. The date of the presentation night will be announced as soon as we know it.
HeadZ You Win! – Introducing the BeerHeadZ Discount Scheme.
Well, it’s been a very short and extremely exciting 2014 for BeerHeadZ and to welcome in 2015 we are officially launching our ‘HeadZ You Win!’ discount scheme. How does it work? You simply come into the pub wearing the BeerHeadZ logo; T-shirt, cap, badge, etc, and you automatically get a 10p discount on your pint every time you visit the bar. We win, you win. SimpleZ! Remember, we already serve in oversize, lined glasses so with HeadZ You Win! you can enjoy even better value for your money. We currently have T-Shirts (£13) and badges (£1) available, with polo shirts, caps, beanies and hoodies becoming available in the next couple of weeks. BeerHeadZ Coming to a Town Near You?
BeerHeadZ are very happy to announce that we have acquired backing and funding to open another three or four BeerHeadZ during the course of 2015. It is both satisfying and extremely exciting that someone has seen the potential of BeerHeadZ and come forward with the foresight and support to help make it happen. We will initially be looking to set up in other East Midland towns or cities and will also be having a tentative look towards the London area. BeerHeadZ is coming. Let us know any potential venues… it could be a town near you!
Official Opening this Wednesday!
Well, we may have already served 60-odd different beers from as many breweries over the last seven weeks, but we are having our official opening this coming Wednesday, 10th December! Celebrations kick off from 5 o’clock-ish and we are being officially opened by the Mayoress followed by some free fodder accompanied by a cracking selection of beers. For those who have supported us over the last few weeks, we look forward to seeing you again and also welcome any newcomers on their first visit to sample the BeerHeadZ experience. All of your hosts – Graeme, Chris, Louise, Dave and Phil will be in attendance and mingling at some point so please feel free to chat or ask any questions you may have over a beer or two.
